Silvia Seitz lives in Kilchberg in the canton of Zurich and works in her studio in the Grisons mountains. She is a trained actress, and that may be the first thing that is important to her visual work. As a result of her profession, she has an eye for the small gesture, for the barely perceptible emotion and for the potentially laboriously hidden vulnerability - all this she had to be able to express as an actress.
