Bronze sculpture details
Falconry was considered the most noble way to hunt in the Middle Ages. Emperors and kings enjoyed it, and Emperor Frederick II of the House of Hohenstaufen even wrote a book about it, De Arte Venandi cum Avibus ("The Art of Hunting with Birds"). Our true-to-life falcon made of bronze with one talon in the leather strap typical of falcons used for hunting, can either be fastened to any sort of pedestal, such as a tree trunk, or on the garden fence.
Edition in bronze, cast using the lost wax technique, chased and patinated by hand.
Atelier Strassacker
We present exclusive bronze art from the "Strassacker Studio" made by our modellers , cast with the same care and workmanship as the limited editions. However, they are not limited with a few exceptions and thus we can offer them at significantly lower prices.
