Renate Reiff (1956)

In addition to attending the Free Art School in Stuttgart, Renate Reiff
studied product design at the University of Applied Sciences in Schwäbisch Gmünd and worked for a number of years as a product designer and graphic designer in the design and advertising industry. She has been working as a freelance artist for three and a half decades now. Reiff's work includes paintings, drawings and sculptures.
The fact that Renate Reiff's artistic beginnings lie in design is also evident in her sculptural works – her motto ‘giving form to love’, which she places at the forefront of her artistic work, clearly expresses this. Despite their modern execution, the impression and formal language emphasise the claim to beauty in the classical sense.
