Michael Vogler received his training as a sculptor (Ausbildung zum Bildhauer) from 1977 to 1981 from Prof. Moroder in Elbigenalp / Tyrol. After an apprenticeship in furniture making, furniture design and a visit to the European Academy of Fine Arts (Europäischen Akademie der bildenden Kunst) in Trier, he decided to become a freelance sculpture in 1990.
Since then, Vogler made sculptures and objects, primarily in bronze and wood, which were shown regularly in solo exhibitions (Oberstdorf, Immenstadt, Kempten, Essen) and group exhibitions.
